Infomaniak’s eco-district data centre in Geneva uses Trane® XStream™ RTWF heat pumps to recover waste heat from 10,000 servers and supply it to the district heating network, covering up to 6,000 homes or 20,000 daily showers. The system avoids 3,600–5,500 tCO₂eq annually, reduces heavy transport needs, and serves as a circular energy model documented through the E4S programme.
