The Heat Pump Forum is the flagship annual event of the European Heat Pump Association.
Held in Brussels, it brings together policymakers, industry leaders and experts to explore how heat pumps support Europe’s energy security, climate ambitions and competitiveness.
Policymakers, industry leaders and experts will explore how residential, commercial and industrial heat pumps can strengthen energy security while accelerating the clean heating transition.
Sessions will focus on the crunch issues around heat pump deployment including energy tax, grid integration, and European manufacturing.
During the Forum, the Heat Pump Awards will recognise the innovation driving Europe’s energy future.
The following day, Wednesday 2 December 2026 at the same venue, SQUARE, an open session of the EU Heat Pump Accelerator Platform will take place. The Heat Pump Accelerator Platform brings the heat pump sector together to overcome barriers to rollout.
The 2 December session will focus on sharing the results of platform activities. These include tracking market data for the 27 Member States, assessing national heat pump policies and identifying training and research and innovation needs.
The session will be followed by a networking lunch.
Since 2011, the Heat Pump Awards have celebrated the projects and people turning Europe’s energy transition into reality. From cities and industries to homes and communities, the Awards spotlight innovative heat pump solutions delivering real impact today – recognising excellence, inspiring replication, and showcasing what sustainable heating and cooling already makes possible across Europe.
