What is the Heat Pump Forum?

The Heat Pump Forum is the flagship annual event of the European Heat Pump Association.

Held in Brussels, it brings together policymakers, industry leaders and experts to explore how heat pumps support Europe’s energy security, climate ambitions and competitiveness.

Heat Pump Forum 2026

Policymakers, industry leaders and experts will explore how residential, commercial and industrial heat pumps can strengthen energy security while accelerating the clean heating transition.

Sessions will focus on the crunch issues around heat pump deployment including energy tax, grid integration, and European manufacturing.

During the Forum, the Heat Pump Awards will recognise the innovation driving Europe’s energy future.

2 December

Heat Pump Accelerator Platform meeting

The following day, Wednesday 2 December 2026 at the same venue, SQUARE, an open session of the EU Heat Pump Accelerator Platform will take place. The Heat Pump Accelerator Platform brings the heat pump sector together to overcome barriers to rollout.

The 2 December session will focus on sharing the results of platform activities. These include tracking market data for the 27 Member States, assessing national heat pump policies and identifying training and research and innovation needs.

The session will be followed by a networking lunch.
