The SecRHC-4.0 project builds on the long-standing work of the RHC-ETIP secretariat since 2009, including three previous projects, and reflects its deep experience in supporting the platform’s strategic and operational goals. It strengthens support for stakeholders in implementing a comprehensive research and innovation strategy to accelerate renewable heating and cooling, in line with the European Green Deal and the deployment of RHC technologies.
Over the years, the secretariat has coordinated meetings, events, and consultations, prepared technical and policy documents, and contributed consensus-based input to the SET-Plan, including its ongoing reform.
The project continues these efforts with a stronger focus on expanding RHC-ETIP membership, particularly national policymakers, demand-side actors, and socio-economic experts, and on updating the Vision and Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda. By fostering collaboration across industry, research, and academia, it aims to enhance the competitiveness and market uptake of renewable heating and cooling solutions.
