Manifesto: how to speed up heat pump rollout

22 May 2026

They therefore reduce dependence on imported energy from unreliable partners, stabilise costs for consumers and industry, and strengthen Europe’s industrial base.

From buildings and industry to cooling and district heating, heat pumps deliver efficient, locally produced energy at a predictable and competitive cost while boosting European manufacturing, skilled jobs and innovation.
