It’s official, the new European Commission was granted the votes necessary to start its mandate until 2029.

Ahead of the plenary vote, Ursula von der Leyen vowed to keep the ambition high on the European Green Deal and the energy transition commenting: “we must and we will stay the course on its goals.”

We dived into the mission letters and watched the confirmation hearings of the Commissioners most relevant to the heat pump sector – Dan Jørgensen, Wopke Hoekstra, Teresa Ribera and Stéphane Séjourné – and highlighted the measures and initiatives worth keeping an eye on.

In the meantime, congratulations to Ursula von der Leyen and the whole team!
