The Road to Sustainable Industrial Heat: A Roundtable on the Future of Industrial Heat Pumps

22 May 2025
10:00-12:00

This online event is organized within the framework of PUSH2HEAT and SPIRIT, two EU projects funded under the Horizon Europe Program, which aim to foster the adoption of high-temperature heat pumps in the industrial sector.

The goal of this webinar is to present the findings of a PESTLE analysis conducted within the PUSH2HEAT project, aimed at identifying the barriers and opportunities for industrial heat pumps across Europe and informing strategies and policies that promote their widespread deployment.

Following the presentation of these findings, speakers from academia and industry, along with policy experts, will share their perspectives on the future of industrial heat pumps and their views on the PESTLE analysis results.

Thu, 22 May 2025 10:00 – 12:00 CEST

We look forward to having you attend the event!

Watt's next webinar: the shift to an electric and efficient net zero industry

Industrial heat remains a major source of greenhouse gas emissions, accounting for two-thirds of industrial energy demand.  Electrifying heat through clean and efficient technologies such as heat pumps and the Organic Rankine Cycle - a means of converting low-temperature heat into electricity through an organic fluid - is critical for reducing emissions and improving  Europe's energy security.
