The project has identified two main objectives to achieve:
(i) analysis of industrial processes and development of standardised heat pump solutions in the food industry and
(ii) the establishment of a roundtable platform for concrete collaboration between stakeholders from the food industry and heat pump technology providers.
The project consists of 9 partners from 6 countries across all of Europe and will run for a duration of 36 months. Members of each key-stakeholder group are represented in the consortium, bringing in their expertise, creating a framework for sustainable energy solutions in the food industry. The consortium members combine the relevant expertise and know-how to achieve most promising and high-quality results of the project. The consortium includes stakeholders from the food and heat pump industry, but also heat pump installation companies and energy experts and auditors that are very well familiar with the situation in the market. Associations will serve also as multipliers to spread the project learning among the networks for direct roll-out in the market.
