The KEYMARK certification is based on independent, third-party testing conducted by laboratories accredited under ISO 17025. This rigorous process ensures harmonisation across Europe, benefiting both manufacturers and end-users. The certification covers key performance indicators, including quality, reliability, durability, and efficiency. This commitment to high standards has made Heat Pump KEYMARK one of the most respected schemes in the industry. Over the past years, the scheme has grown significantly, now covering more than 10,000 certified heat pump models from over 180 renowned brands.
Test laboratories such as TÜV Rheinland play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of the certification process. Mario Reimbold, Business Field Manager for Heating Appliances at TÜV Rheinland, states: “Our mission as a test laboratory is to provide impartial and reliable results.
