Kiwa Creiven becomes 30th registered testing laboratory

The Heat Pump KEYMARK certification recently welcomed Kiwa Creiven (located in Padova, Italy) as its 30th registered testing laboratory, further reinforcing its position as the leading voluntary third-party certification for heat pumps in Europe. This milestone underscores the scheme’s commitment to delivering strong, reliable, and transparent certification processes that benefit manufacturers, certificate holders, and stakeholders across the industry.

Testing laboratories play a crucial role in the certification process. They are the ones conducting the tests and ensuring that the results are compliant with European standards and regulations. Third-party test centres guarantee that the product’s quality and performance data is delivered in an independent and reliable way.

The Heat Pump KEYMARK scheme ensures that heat pumps meet the highest quality and performance standards, providing confidence to consumers and industry professionals alike. With Kiwa Creiven’s registration, the scheme expands its network of accredited testing laboratories, further boosting its credibility and accessibility.

Kiwa Creiven, a renowned testing and certification body, brings extensive expertise in evaluating heat pump performance and compliance with European standards. Their addition to the Heat Pump KEYMARK network enhances the scheme’s capacity to support manufacturers seeking certification, contributing to a more robust and harmonised approach to quality assurance.

Ernst Vossers, Comercial Manager KIWA

“We are proud that our brand new lab in Italy joins the Heat Pump KEYMARK scheme as its 30th registered testing laboratory,” said Ernst Vossers, Commercial Manager at Kiwa. “This certification is a benchmark of excellence in the industry, and we are committed to upholding its rigorous standards. By working together, we can provide manufacturers with the confidence and reliability they need to bring high-quality heat pumps to the European market. With this new laboratory we have extended our testing capabilities for Air-Water heat pumps with a capacity up to 100 kW. This fits into our strategy to provide our clients with multiple testing services (like Safety, Electromagnetic Compatibility/ Radio frequency, and Performance) on the same location.

With this latest addition, the Heat Pump KEYMARK scheme reaffirms its dedication to transparency, consistency, and trust. The registration of Kiwa Creiven marks another step forward in ensuring certified heat pumps meet the highest expectations for performance, efficiency, and sustainability.
