Mónica holds a bachelor's degree in Communication and Multimedia from the University of Vila Real, Portugal.

She completed an internship working on an application that uses immersive technologies for foreign language learning.

Mónica served as the director of the student association's marketing department for two years, where she specialized in event planning and media promotion. She has experience working alongside international projects, including a six-month volunteer project under European Solidarity Corps.

On 25 November 2025, Mónica joined the Communications team at EHPA as Communication Assistant.
