Beñat holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of the Basque Country (Bilbao, Spain) and a Master's degree in Public Management from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (Barcelona, Spain). 

During his Master's program, Beñat completed an internship in the Educational Department of Catalunya as a research assistant. He then moved to Brussels to join CONEXX-EU, where he managed several European projects, primarily under the Erasmus+ framework, focusing on topics such as youth engagement, migration, and digital awareness. 

Since February 2025, Beñat has been working as a Project Officer at the European Heat Pump Association.
