The challenge was to provide reliable comfort while minimising energy consumption and operational costs.<\/div>\n<div class=\"ewa-rteLine\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"ewa-rteLine\">The solution is centred on a geothermal energy hub comprising three Ecoforest ecoGEO+ HP 25-100 water-to-water heat pumps installed in cascade. The system uses 35 vertical geothermal boreholes, each 120 metres deep, providing a stable renewable heat source throughout the year. The heat pumps can deliver heating, cooling and DHW, while Ecoforest\u2019s High Temperature Recovery technology recovers heat generated during cooling and redirects it to the swimming pools and DHW.<\/div>\n<div class=\"ewa-rteLine\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"ewa-rteLine\">The system is complemented by 193 photovoltaic panels (93.6 kWp), DHW and buffer tanks, an in-built energy manager, a high-efficiency swimming-pool dehumidifier and three heat-recovery air handling units.<\/div>\n<div class=\"ewa-rteLine\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"ewa-rteLine\">The result is an integrated thermal ecosystem that reuses energy internally rather than rejecting it to the environment.
